Got V9 for the 2610, loaded it onto pc, no problems. Loaded it onto satnav, on screen prompt says successful, but the unit says I'm still on v8.

I'm thinking there's actually not enough room on the flashcard. So I've got a 2mb one. Do I just install v8 again, then install v9 afterwards or what ?

OR, if there's any savvy bods in the Ards area, a quick tutorial with free tea and bickies would be greatly appreciated. :thumb2

1 In Mapsource make sure CN v9 is the mapset in use from the drop down selection.

2. Colour in the maps using the bashed in square icon to show the maps you want.

3. Give the above collection of maps a name. CN v9 for example.

4. Send the maps to the GPS / Card reader. And Robert is now your uncle!

5. ALL previous maps will be deleted when you carry out # 4.

6. There is no 6.

7. That help?

Brilliant. :thumb2 Thanks John, and another reason I've just renewed my yearly subscription to this site. :bow

If you'd phoned me, I'd have told you all that for free and you'd have had the benefit of listening to my mellifluous tones.....:)

He was supposed to let me know when to call in for the tea and biccies. Get. :(
