Help using 2610 Please.

Just got my first ever gps - 2610.
I find it hard to locate places i want to go to on the touch screen.
i click find button, then tap addresses on the screen and it comes up with England.
i then tap on England and tap on postcode.
i then enter for example NG12 5 because thats all it lets me do.

Then what?
it wont let me tap 'find' at the bottom of the screen.

there must be an easy way to locate places you want to go to.

With the 2610, you can narrow down a search, but you can't search on Postcodes alone. Eg say there are 57 Waterloo Roads in the UK, but entering the Postcode SA31 1 will give you just 1 search result.

you need to enter the street etc. before post code i'm afraid. daft system.

Hi Stuart

I find the easiest way

In find…… just leave England in the top (there by default anyway)

Put the house number in

Then the road name

Then hit find it should list them in order by distance…… from where you are with the area and part postcode

(this works for me i never use postcode search)
