I have been trying to load my mapsource v9 on the my mac, via my sons pc laptop, I have been having trouble putting the maps from the pc on to a memorystick, its 4 gb and keeps telling me its full, when I have taken everything off it.
But I think while doing so I have deleted a program as the cd drive won't open mapsource anymore.
I have done a system restore back to last night when it worked
I hate pc's,
no did not work cd drive still not working

Mapsource (I gather the Garmin bit of kit) is not compatible with Mac. You will probably need MapInstall

This is probably why the programme won't open. As for the data, it is probably easier to load up the maps onto your GPS from the PC and then sync with MapInstall rather than use a USB stick.

I was trying to do install and do conversion for my mac, managed to suss out what I was doing wrong,.
I was trying to install all the pc files on the flash drive not just the converted files
you live and learn, took me 3 evenings though
easy now
