Evenin' ,

I am staying in Pembrokeshire more and more ( girl friend) but I dont know the area very well. I really want to explore and Im looking for routes to wobble my way round (inclement weather permitting) to take in and get a flavour of the area. With a Cardigan / Narberth start points can any one recommend any good rides? Up to 150 miles I guess?
Thanks

O

Hi Charlie, It might be an idea to change the title to help with routes rather than what appears to be a cry for HEEEEELP:thumb

Have a search through the Wales section and you'll find plenty of route's on Mapsource.

You could also get your walking boots on and try the Pembrokshire coastal path.

Hi Charlie
As PW says, have a look on t'internet.
If you are on foot:
Pembroke coastal path should give you a feel and is less risky than the bigger hills if you can't navigate: http://www.pcnpa.org.uk/
Although the Brecon Beacons look nice in the sunshine, they are mean in the mist and have a bite to them.
You might want to look at Prescelly as well.
If you are using boxer traction, you might want to head up north towards Machynlleth and look for Bwlch y Groes and a clip on YouTube
Either way - South Wales is a great place - enjoy your visits

Breccans and more

Yep, the breccans region is lovely and up around the Elan valley if you want to go toward midwales. Not far on a bike.

Rhyader etc are all nice, but be warned, watch out for camera vans etc. South Wales is getting very busy with them. Especially come summer time.

Enjoy.

Thanks you sooooomuch

Guys,
many thanks for the replies and advice. have had some belting walks along different stretches along the coast especially in filthy freezing soaking weather (londoner..... its a novelty for me) and loved them. I will check out the suggested stuff cheers. May I take the time to congratulate you on your up and coming retention of the six nations (as long as you do the jocks....:augie:augie).
