After going out for the day last weekend my wife put her 54 reg 650 away in the garage. No problems. Just got it out for a ride round and it won't start! Jumped it off another battery and it just about fired up. But when it did run the revs jumped about all over the place, misfired like a pig and as soon as you take your hand off the throttle it immediatly conked out! Then it didn't even turn over again! Checked the battery voltage and with the ignition off it was 12v but with the ignition on it went down to around 8 without pressing anything. Press the starter..... nothing. HELP!!!!!!!!!
