I bought a 2610 street pilot from Hexham car boot sale for £50 last week, loads of stuff City (Navigator V6 with unlock code, City Navigator V8 with unlock code also City Navigator 2008 no code , carry bag, external aerial, bean bag mount, fixed mount, remote control, 2no. 256MB 1no. 1GB. & 1no. 2GB Compactflash memory cards with various maps already downloaded so ready to go e.g. 2GB has most of UK & Europe on it

This all well and good, switching the thing on it defaults to the previous owners address as home?

How the hell do I change the address in the thing so it recognises my address as the home address and not previous guys?

First off: Put the thing outside and switch it on so it knows where it is.

Press "Menu" highlight "Route Options".. press "OK"..

Highlight "Set Home Location" and press "OK"

Find your home location using the selected option.
