Hepco becker ali panniers

I am thinking of getting a set for my 1100 GS...Question is i will want to take a passenger on the back.. Will the aluminium pannier boxes get in their way...Also has anyone tried the Gobi Boxes ?

May be worth having a chat with "Civil" as he produces some alloy panniers

I've got hepco & becker expedition panniers on my 1150, and they do mount very high up, never had a pillion rider on the back with them fitted , but i've other people having trouble with a pillion and expedition panniers fitted -

My, that was long winded, when just a "yes" would have done the job

H & B Ali panniers

Not sure this is remotely helpfull but I havn't got much to do at work this morning.

Here's mine . I've had passengers on - you can see the footpegs are about 6" in front pf the box. My girl finds it nice and secure as the handles are easy to grab.

Ok Ok .. They came like that when I bought them on fleabay.

If it wasn't for the stickers being Hi-Viz I might have taken them off , us GSers being quiet, secretive and furtive types , not prone to extravagances !!
