I was thinking of fitting a TT hard part to protect the gearbox mount point on my 1100GS......do a little bit off road and the design of this bit of the bike seems cr*p even compared to the rest!:augie
So I contacted TT to ask if the H&B bars I have allowed the fitment of their hardpart as they both seem to locate in and around the same engine bolt area......and they did'nt know!!!:thedummy
soo, here I am asking the assembled knowledge base that is UKGSER (:bow ), anyone have both on their bike?

thanks

Yes the H&B bars and the Gerabox hardpart can go together - I have it on my 1100 but you may need to angle grind a small piece out of the TT hard part on the rear most upper corner. It's only a little bit that needs to be taken off just to allow the H&B bar connector to fit snug. It's a 2 minute job with an angle grinder or 10 minutes with a file. You may get it to fit without and the H&B bars are not an exact bit of precision engineering so you may be lucky and not have to do it.
TT hard part is a very worthwhile investment for any 1100's who plan to go offroad - they may save your gearbox casing.

I was going to ask the same question!...When the replacement bolt is fitted it looks like it also goes through the H&B bar...Is the bolt long enough to go through both and still have sufficient thread left?
