Moving on - since buying it its done another 5k and has had new wilbers shocks, steptoe’s headgaurds, final drive brgs and seal, MRA screen, fastaways and most recently a short beak (I had a 11gs back in 95 loved the bike but hated the beak hence the make over).

What do you reckon - improvement or not?

yes, this is what we did to uggs, he cut it(the beak) and i resprayed it, looks a lot better

I don't think much of the sidecar in the first pic. You did the right thing ditching that.:D
Like the short bonce too.

Cheers guys!

Well thanks for all your comments, I must admit I like the red seats I think it adds a bit of colour imo (i also liked the yellow seat on my first bumble bee 1100).

I guess its just a matter of taste or lack off on my behalf.:augie

I like the modifications you have done , the beak is shorter than mine .

I shortened my beak at the front .
cut back and reshaped the lower mudguard.
inserted stainless grills into the side piece at front.
N colour matched the lot, sort of...:augie

Let's hope we don't get another couple of months of snow - god knows what you will find to paint/polish/reshape/bolt on/cut off............
