Just tried out one of those Hero Mini Video Cameras and I have to say I'm impressed.

The Cam does :-

Video

One off still shots

A shot every 2 or 5 seconds - continuous

I have posted a video on you tube if you want a look but the quality wont be as good due to you tube compression.

I have tried a bullet cam before linked to a Archos and this is just as good

One hours filming (video) fills one gig and it takes sd cards.

Power comes from 2 aaa batteries and after 2 hours video they are still going strong.

looks good... hard to believe one gig would do an hour... seems like good battery life too..... any pics of the thing?

It comes with a selection of mounts for bike and helmet although I havn't found a normal screw type

The Cam comes with a waterproof box which the cam was in when I did the film but the sound doesn't seem too bad. I have often got a load of interference when using other cams combined with wind noise but this seemed fine to me.

Only problem is no viewing screen to check that you have it lined up correctly but its not too difficult and the angle is so wide that it seems to get everything in anyway.

I mounted it to the front beak of my GSA and it didnt seem to be bothered too much by the shaking when stood still so well chuffed with it.
