muddy !

Looks like you guys had a great day out.

I spent the day swapping the my supermoto wheels for the nobblies then found I had a puncture !!

Off to the wombats tomorrow.

Hey you lightweights,

Looks like you had a great time, l'm looking forward to Surrey tomorrow, it'll be a blast.

Greg, what's all this about a girlie bike then? Bet you wish you had carried a can of that Finelec aerosol stuff (or whatever it's called at Halfords) that’s a real get out of jail free card when you are stuck with a flat tyre.

See ya'all on the 18th April then!

Mr (Tickle) Saunders impressed me with his riding ability on our 2003 Sawbo' Cycles GS green lane outing where he muscled his big GS around with confidence. I'm pleased to see he now has an XR like mine for the serious stuff.

With regards to your pucture Greg. I ride with a Rucksack and carry the following items in it. I find that it's best to be prepared as you cannot always rely on a prompt response from the AA/RAC.

Camelback bladder
18" Tube
21" Tube
Puncture repair outfit
Tyre levers
Valve spanner
Pump
520 O-Ring master link
Clutch lever
Front brake lever
Plastic cable ties
Headlamp/ tail-lamp bulb
Spark plug
Small selection of tools and odd nuts and bolts
Dry gloves and goggles
and most important of all.........a tow rope.

All this extra weight to carry keeps me fit and moves the centre of gravity back making wheelies easier!

Dave

The previous time I went out, I had nearly all of that stuff (don't think I had a spare headlamp bulb though!) and needed none.

This time I made the fatal mistake of thinking that'd I'd be near to home so I wouldn't need it. Still, mrTickle[/] and I had a relaxing pint whilst Phil Reynolds searched Hertfordshire for a new tube!

:D

Greg

Ha ha... good way to pass the time I say. I've made a note in my diary for the 18th so perhaps we will eventually get to ride together.
