Hetfordshire evening ride Wed 5th (Big Bikes)

Starting from StAlbans at 6:30 an 85 Miles ride that will end in the dark...

Nothing tricky, bike bike's Ok, big bikes on road tyres OK those with some capability.

A great opportunity to get your 11XX and 12XX down some green lanes

Wimping out because the twilight is making it hard to see is not allowed

I'm away for the weekend so I'll not be watching the post

(BTW - we met at the hog roast ride out and I was on the G450X that always needed jump leads to start the little fekker...).

Yup we've room... and if you can get an 1100 down the Old Boune then getting a 800GS around on road tyres will be no problem

there is a slim possibility i might be able to skive off early today.

The se has road tyres on it so it might be the 450. if im there im there ! if im not im not.

SE on road tyres will be fine - we can alwys meet you at the cafe or if you're a little later then outside the Church at Essendon

i lost all the air from my front tyre on the 414 near letty green, managed to stay upright this time. Still waiting for recovery. Feck knows what time i'll get home.........

When you left WindyChuffers 1200 decided not to start, after some pushing and tweaking of battery cables it evenually decided to fire up.

Hi Wreford,

Got 800gs and am in St A. Would be intesreted in a bit of offroad locally. I know the lanes well through mountain biking, but they are nearly all off limits.
