Running a 92 PD here and looking for info on the Hepco Becker Junior bags. Not a lot of info/pics or people using them here in the States.

Interested to see any reviews or pictures you all might have of these bags mounted on an airhead PD or GS. They appear to be a sturdy, well designed alternative to the BMW stock bags. I'm not a globetrotter and have no need for the large alum style bags, just something to carry the helmet and a 12 pack of beer. A view from the bike stash....

I've got a set here and also had the 40litre ones on a guzzi. Nice panniers and very robust they just don't look cool enough for most adventure riders.

My brother has a $5- solution - a couple of hard "Samsonite" style suitcases, from his local charity shop, around "carry on" size, a couple of bit of plywood a few bolts and occy straps and an hour of his time.

Dont have to be a perfect match - you can only see one side at a time, and I didnt pick them until he pointed it out.

They actually work quite well , as they have dividers , pockets , straps etc to hold your gear in place and stop it getting shaken to bits.

Must get up to Edinburgh to see him some time---.

Thanks for the pics...that was exactly what I was looking for. I am partial to that style and have been pleased with other HB products in the past.

This looks like the solution for me in the luggage department.

Cheers

Also noticed in the photo...Do we have a 30l on the Left and 40l size on the right?
My current stock bags are both the large size which gives a goofy look from the rear.

Slowkitty, I think we have crossed paths on ADV in the past under different names?

The large is IMHO .. too large although the 30 litres will not take a full-lid.
