HG Toureg boot height

Hi Folks,

I`m getting peeved off about my waterproof trousers continually slipping up over the top of my boots & have decided to change said boots. Could someone please measure the height from the sole of their HG toureg boot to the top at the rear, I`m in a size 47, do they alter the height for different sizes? Are they quite a snug fit at the top for us lucky folk who don`t have elephantcalfitus (fat calves ) ? Do they look ok when wearing leathers? Supermoto look or farm yakker welly look?

Size 46 =13.5" Probably were 14" when new.

Mine fit around my manly calves alright.

I look good in anything so the last ones hard to answer.

Size 42 , are also 13 1/2 inches and these are new .

Would definatly say they look more supermoto than sheep worrier

Just tried it on again and the top fastner is adjustable velcro and my pants fit comfortably inside the boot

Mine are 44 and same height.

Mine do look , but then that may be coz I wear a leather vest and chaps with the arse cut out on the bike; who knows, it's a tricky judgment call.

I believe that the height of the boot is known at the "shaft". I wouldn't therefore be concerned as I understand that size of shaft is not important

Yeah, but he's concerned that the girth might not be enough. That is important I am lead to believe...

I find the top of my boots reminiscent of a wizard's sleeve, so filling it can be quite a challenge.

Quite the opposite, I`m concerned the girth might be too much! I`ve got big feet but long skinny legs.
