Looking for someone has stayed. In Daytona good places to stay.

I stayed here a couple of years ago when I went "walkabout" and ended up in Daytona for the racing and Bike Week.

Generic American motel / hotel type affair, but clean and comfy.

I was there a week after bikefest. Drove up from Kissimmee (while on family vacation) to buy some HD bits ordered from JP Cycles. Visited Bruce Rossmeyer's shop and got some bikefest memorabilia for the lads back in Saudi.
There are several websites regarding Daytona bikeweek and places to stay. Better to book now if you want something respectable as 5* hotels taken by the Teutels inc reserved already.

Daytona beach is great for a swim.

I went to bike week in 93 with the british racing contingent Steve Heslop etc the trip was won with MCN so had passes to all areas and was there for a great two weeks allot has probably changed since then so any recommendations would probably be usless. Had a fantastic time though great racing Eddie Lawson won and got to meet him after the race in victory lane, well cool. Most nights spent on main street watching the bikes parade, if you need any parts for a harley then there was loads of custom parts stalls/shops.

Hi all
Many thanks for all replies just needed some more information have been to Florida +Kissimmee a few times yes I will have to book asap to get a good place to stay.
I will spend a week Daytona and a week doing the Parks orlando will keep all up to speed whats going on.
