well as of monday week I shall be a Gee,S'er:beerjug:
It is I think quite a standard bike, and I hope I have not paid over the top for it.
It has no heated grips,no A,B.S. and no servo brakes,it has however got a fancy hugger, also two side panniers that are made,or made for B.M.W.
It has just under 14k on the clock, and was first reg in sept. 05.so it has not been rode that much, the dealer wanted 7800, well I got the bike down to 7400,and to be fitted with a new front, one years tax,but I could only get 3 months cover, this bike was not taken out from a B.M.W dealer,it was a honda dealer that had it in the show room, for me it looked like the best way to get as much as I did for my vfr,I am sure if I had gone to a B.M.W. bike dealer I would not got as much for the honda.
Ayway, hope I have made a good move, and roll on monday week:thumb2:clap

it has these sort of panniers, are they any good????? as I have always used givi.

Welcome Spock.

The price you paid for your GS was about average considering you got the boxes. However, if you ride in the winter, you will definitely regret not having heated grips (i think these are essential).

The Vario Boxes are excellent IMHO. I have used mine for more that 35k miles and they have never leaked or let me down.

Do you also have the inner bags? if not get some, as these really complement the boxes.

cheers :thumb

Enjoy your new bike, Spock! :thumb

Once you've had heated grips, you'll never want to be without them. But if you've never had them before, you won't miss them.

Yep, gotta agree about the grips, ive never had it before, have now, brilliant :thumb2

I can say the same about ABS!

Hi Spock, welcome to the site :beerjug:

The MBW cases are great, mine have been used and abused over many miles, three continents and even tesco :D and have never let me down. The inner bags are great after a wet, muddy days riding as you can leave the panniers on the bike. They often come up second hand :thumb2

Live long and prosper!
