Hello all, I am looking to purchase a R1200GS LC, secondhand though as I can't afford a new one with the extra's I would like, can you tell me the difference between the 2013 and 2014 onwards bikes please?

Hello and welcome. You will probly be better off at a dealer who can give you the info. you want. I'm not too sure if there are many besides colours. If you subscribe you will have access to more areas of the site with a lot more info. JJH

Steering damper fitted, revised engine mountings slightly so different crash bars from 2013. Software will take quick shifter where as 2013 wont, think thats about it.
Good advice to still check with a dealer though.

Thanks guys, yes I will discuss with dealer but for armed is far warned as they say, going to look at one in Bristol tomorrow and yes I will be subscribing once I have made my purchase!

Is it the 2015 model that has the larger flywheel?

Not much difference between 13 and 14 as stated by gs man and yes the 15 has the heavier flywheel.
