Hi Mates!
Even though I've been visiting this magnificent Forum once and while, I never really took the time to introduce myself to you all.
I'm from Porto in the north of Portugal and I'm the proud owner of a GS1150.
Being a bit away from the UK I w'ont be able to be a very active member:(
but as the web brings us together i'll give my humble opinnion on the matters that interest me and for as long as you have enough patience to put up with me.
Regarding a possible help I may give you when coming around Porto, just drop me a line and I'll be glad to lend you a hand.
Cheers to ya all :beerjug:

Welcome, Antonio!

Being a bit of a ways off physically doesn't mean you're not participating! (At least not to me. Then again, I'm the sod who's off in the states!)

Hey Ceeby,

Where are you in the Algarve? I used to live in Vilamoura for a while, must be about 10 years ago now. Not been back since,I guess alot has changed. Used to ride up into the Alantajo (spelling?) quite a bit, loved it up there very peacefull and friendly locals.

I'm sure that would go down very well with some of the forum members here, thats mighty fine offer Antonio, thank you :)

Antonio, would you consider becoming a site sponsor. You get the option of a pm (private message) facility as a bonus (amongst others) plus Id like to talk to you more about the possibilities of arranging an event in Portugal. Who knows ... that could become reality

Here's the link should you wish to use it:

Looking forward to seeing more of those pictures of yours.

Hi Ceeby, if you're coming my way you must give me a call. I'll be more than delighted to pay you a beer. If you come around just dial 93 830 61 70 to let me know when you're arriving. I'll show you some nice places (in case that you don't know them allready) and will introduce you to some GSers that are great folks to hang with.
Be welcome to Porto.
Antonio

Thanks for that Antonio, I certainly will do that. As soon as my bike is ready from the dealers in Faro, I will contact you with a view to visiting Porto in the new year.

Muito obrigado e bom fim semana!

I'll be glad to support the forum but I don't use Visa or MasterCard. I made the mistake of switching to AMEX wich has better insurance, but as it charges larger commissions it seems no one wants to work with it. Is there any other way I can pay for 13 Quid?
