Can you help the front discs on my 1200gs are worn out

1. do i replace them with bmw oe discs and have a lung removed

2 has any one heard of pro lite discs and are they crap

3 is it a job i can do with a hammer im an average mechanic

What steel do you use Steptoe? I used wearplate, although it works nice it discolours?

had to go to bmw cos my bike only just under warranty and the clutch master cylinder had gone with was done under warranty so thought what th hell and got discs done at the same time
