I have Norton Proff 2004 ruuning.

I am getting all the usual rubbish about, from Nigerians:

Offering to buy cars.

Include me in asset realisation

They are sitting in the "Norton Anti Spam Folder"

Can I "bounce" these back?

Will it reduce their interest in my address?

I want the address for business use, I'd prefer not to ditch it. The situation is presently, managable. I would like to fend off these irritants, if possible.

Thanks

All the best Geoff

Richie's right...if you reply in any way, they (or rather the programme they use to automatically send out this crap to trawled addresses) know it's a live address and the address then becomes more valuable to them.

Ignore them or get one of the numerous progs that deletes them from the server if you're on dial-up so you dont have to d/load them in the first place.

It may be worth adding the address to 'spam sender' but usually their software changes the out going address every time so you'll never see the same address twice.

I read, on here about "bouncing" 'em back.

I took it to mean to appear, to play dead?

I won't reply to these pillocks. Still, some must hand over cash, or they would not waste their time.

All the best Geoff

:)
