Hi everyone, never thought that I`d ever be pleased to be called a "tosser"!

I`m new to the forum & site but have found it very entertaining reading, boy are there some real strange characters riding GS`s!!!

Was wondering if anyone out there could offer me some advice.

Myself & my 02 1150gs are planning a trip from Peterborough to my parents in Llandudno in a couple of weeks time & was wondering if anyone has any suggestion with regards to the route - the more scenic the better - & I don`t mind a degree of meandering.

Ah well thats about enough of my ramblings its now over to you.

Thanks in anticipation. :thumb2

Hi Dave,

Are you looking for routes around North Wlaes/ Llandudno or from Peterborough.

PW

Hi PW

A route from Peterborough that could incorporate some scenic routes around N. Wales would be perfect, mileage & time is not really a problem, as I`ll have all day.

Thank PW :thumb

You could cut across to Stratford-on-Avon, Worcester, A44 to Leominster then on to Crossgates then Rhayader.

From Rhayader turn North on to the B4518 toward St Harmon and Llanidloes, go through Llanidloes and again pick-up the B4518 North toward Staylittle and on to Llanbrynmair.

When you get to Llanbrynmair you meet the A470, turn left and after about 20 yds turn right on to B road (Pandy Road) according to Map Source.

Continue on until you meet the A458 the turn left toward Mallwyd then right to Dinas Mawddwy.

Your now in Snowdonia National Park and about 50 miles South of Llandudno with the National park on your beak.

Hope this all makes sense.

Enjoy and ride caerfully the roads from Rhyader North are twisty and tight.
