Hey up
Just got back from Adventure bike warehouse Near Manchester
Bloody freezing but managed to overtake a few, in the dark, instead of "following them that can see"
John at the warehouse fitted me a HID headlight and mainbeam plus a mini LED pilot light do dah to me square headlight
I can see for a long way further than the original and the beam lights up the road super dooper when on Main flat beam
All the lot fitted and working on me r100GSPD no need to do owt bar get yer bike there
I know what he charged me - I dont know how he does it for the price - it took quite a bit of time to fit it all behind the fairing and under tank
I fitted a Xennon bulb from Halfrauds last year - it was definately better than original but nowt like as good as what I have now :clap

I did win a prize in the raffle at the weekend - but I decided to book this job in before I was notifyed of my prezzy - Good karma or what :bounce1 :bounce1
I recon Skygods after a Airhead soon cos He was my pillion for the journey there - He said it was great - and before anyone asks
No we didn't bang helmets :ymca

Update on the lights - Just had to check before I posted the price
The company Adventure Bike Warehouse can upgrade your H4 dipped and mainbeam plus fit a 4x brighter pilot/park LED for about £60 fitted
I thought it bang on, and with the dosh saved purchased a pair of super dooper gloves - I am frugal with the dosh as everyone knows - I considered this a very good investment in safety - going to doo the backend now

Just got the full story of my raffle prize luck

The very honourable lady TAZ = Jonnywave on here's wife Drawn the tickets and with first prize she pulled her own number out then refused to take the prize and put the prize back in the raffle
What a top lady what a top rider gesture to doo :clap :clap

I always think that by being helpful - It will come back to you

Taz Hope you win the lotto If I doo - you and Jonny are looked after

HID light

Hi Mick,

I went out on a run on my PD in the day to an event at Honda HM Racing, at Louth. On leaving it was dark, had a really hard time trying to ride with in effect no lights!!

Must do something about that, I have to have a good nosey next time I see you, at Archies probably.

Regards

Cobbster

I know your a perfectionist Paul, and I know you are looking to design a improved lighting system for the PDs - But with a power consumption of I be-leave 35 watt the HID is simple ( John fits it ) and leaves the heated grips some power - Your mini lights would be run for no extra drain - JMT
Mick - See you soon :D :D :D you will see me as well :D :D :D

Thanks for the post sir
Next time I will dooo better - It was a different day as well :comfort :D
I love my PD even more than I did before :clap
