Since i dropped the bike a couple of weeks age i have a problem with the HID headlamps.
Ign on/Start the bike and the HID H/lamp works.
Use the headlamp flash switch and the HID switches to high beam.
push gently on the hi beam switch and the headlamp switches to main beam, push the main beam switch fully across and the headlamp goes out completely. If i switch back to lo beam it stays off. I have to switch the ign off and back on again to get the lo beam back on.
It went down on the l/h/side, so i suspected the high beam switch. I removed the switch then checked the voltage out when switched over, its perfect, all working OK.
I suspect the HID unit but dont know how they work, so am reluctant to buy one until i can confirm its that.
Can anyone help please? perhaps someone out there understands how these things work and can enlighten me???
