Hideout leathers

Just been and ordered a pair of touring leather trousers from hideout.

Went up to there place to get them fitted for my odd shaped body.

Really quality gear and friendly staff.

Saving up for the jacket now.

I have an off-the-peg touring jacket from Hideout. 6 years old now, worn most days and just about broken in. They are made from very stiff very thick leather. But it feels like a suit of armour with it on. Great stuff. Warm in cold weather and perversely quite cool in hot weather as it keeps the heat of the sun out for quite a long while and the stiff leather means it holds shape and structure with collar and cuffs open to get lots of cooling air flowing through.

I tried several pairs of matching trousers but they really didn't fit so sent them all back. I got a pair made to measure from Scott leathers in Barnard Castle in the end. Also good.
