There have been several posts about Hilltop and reprogramming the ecu so i decided to go along myself. The results were;

A very different bike. It appears that the stock fuel settings are to run 'lean'. When thats gone, the improvements are obvious. Not cheap but no dearer than a power commander and with less wiring.(none)

Geoff is also a very interesting guy to talk to. A world class paragliding pilot both powered and free. I'll try and get his youtube handle and post some links.

Not sure about the accuracy of the print outs but after Geoff worked his manic with mine I was left with a completely different bike. Expensive but well worth it for the improvement

I think they do claim something like that though I guess it depends where its measured. And my bike has now done 57,000 kms, so far from new.

I guess they measure it from the crank

Although 10 ponies is a lot to lose on the way to the wheel

Really good to read about your experience with a single. I keep meaning to get my Husky over to Geoff's and this has spurred me on.

The main thing I'm after is smoother low down fuelling (when trickling along at 15/20mph), currently the bike is surging quite a bit at those sort of speeds. Also, I really want improved/instant pick up (more like a carb) for floating the front over obstacles. What improvement did you notice in these areas?

All of the above. You will not be disappointed.
