Ouch! :/Doesn't work on all bikes unfortunately. R1
Yeah, probably not doable on the R1 but have you tried deflating the rear tyre to slide the DX1000 round the wheel and reflate with a mobile compressor?

It’s not my bike, it’s from FB. On my RS it fits around the rear wheel no problem.Ouch! :/

Just to follow on from this.No issues in use on my second one well third if you count the one the thieving scum tried to cut off my 1250 !
I actually don’t line the pin up now work on the logic as soon as someone moved the bike it will engage in the hole !
Used every day all weathers as well.
I stopped using it on the centre stand, it gets interesting if you roll it off the centre stand without taking the pin out !Just to follow on from this.
At work and home I rarely set the pin, it can be hard to remove if you move the bike to engage it. However, if I am parking on a street, I put the bike on the centre stand and rotate the wheel until the pin sets - it's much easier to unlock this way

That’s the trouble with ‘Tricky to use’ or ‘Annoying’ security measures…. Bods give up using them.

I've never managed to get it off the centre stand when it's engaged - only tried twice!! Hence why I set it before leaving the bike - lift the front a bit to rotate the front until the peg sets. Takes seconds, and is a doddle to remove..I stopped using it on the centre stand, it gets interesting if you roll it off the centre stand without taking the pin out !

The work car park is gated and only accessed if reception let you past the big spiked gates. However, I still fit it to the carrier.
At home, the road I live on, is only accessible via a narrow gap for pedestrians, cyclists and those of the equine persuasion, otherwise you need a gate code, or lift it 5' (after carrying it 600m) to clear the gate, as the bike won't fit through the pedestrian etc. access point.
Still wouldn't have been possible to remove a DX1000 with that cut spoke. Obviously something much smaller used in that instance. A DX1000 would work fine on that bike if attached sensibly.Doesn't work on all bikes unfortunately. R1
dosent stop a lift into a van though mista!Agreed, I think .
Got a good alarmed Abus disk lock but use a Litelok and strong noose chain if overnighting in non BMSBIFP
