Hograost. Anyone from South Wales going?

Had the shock of my life earlier when I realised that the Hograost was just 9 days away. That crept up on me.

Anyone from Gods country going over on the Friday and fancy meeting up for a gentle cross country ride? I think last year a couple of us met up at Abergavenny, then went on to meet the others at Magor services before stopping at Winchester for lunch.

I know of a lovely scenic ride through some really tight lanes if your interested

Taff, I must give this one a miss I'm afraid as Mel is due to calf down over that weekend, mind ewe Bakes may be able to do something in the creche department or will I be pushing me luck

Going by the BBQ we had the other weekend with your family, it looks like the attraction of burning things runs in the family did ewe manage to find a bag for the Kyam in the end BTW. I have the very same tent, minus the burn holes

That's the one, Winchester near Marlborough.

I haven't got a replacement bag yet. I will probably just use the holy one to the Hograost and buy an Ortlieb from Les at Traveldri when I get there.

hav now got the go ahead for this event so i shall be travelling in the works van with the bike on the trailer..

Right then gang, here's the plan. Myself and the boy are meeting Dickieboy etc at Abergavenny bus station at 10.15am. We will then ride down to the petrol station at Magor Services (where we met last year) for 10.45am. After a quick fill up / toilet break / pisstake etc I reckon we should aim to leave by 11.00am so that we can get to Marlborough by lunchtime.

Even allowing for Holly dropping her lunch on the floor and tipping Dickieboys bike we should get to the Rugby Club by mid / late afternoon, assuming there are no dramas on the way.
