So put on by the test rider in order to sell new tyres?? Or actual stability issue...

I like the quote on 10kg per pannier... Like that happens!

I think he was actually doing the anti SMIDSY weave :D

Ah of course cos at 100mph that's gonna help them see you easier!

Feckin brave pilot if that speedo shot is real though

Das Gummikuh lives on.....:rob

Ironic then that back in the day when airheads were current, the only tyres to have sufficiently stiff carcasses to contain the oscillations of the gummi frame were Metzlers and Continentals. Michelins, ISTR were a definite......:nono

Feckin brave pilot if that speedo shot is real though

You get used to it. My old MkIII Commando used to do that two-up with a heavy toolbag strapped to the rear mudguard, in 90 mph bends. :D

Scaremongering video.

If my Tourances ever came close to weaving like that, I'd be making a call to Mr Metzeler whilst wearing my angry trousers (probably with a little brown staining in them)..

I'd like to know what the "Reference" tyre was. Just so that I don't buy them by mistake...

Probably any tyre that isn't the one they're promoting. Best I junk my Anakee 2 'reference' rubber then. :blast

Utter Bollox from Michelin..:nenau

I cant get my GSA to wobble like that, even when doing 120 on Knobblies..:augie

:Motomartin

The Michelin vid looks dodgy. It any bike is weaving at 100Khm (under 60 mph) then there's something wrong with the bike or tyre (wrong pressure, mismatched profiles or very badly balanced).

Murry knows. Fat tossers will never weave, so just eat more pies and have a little little down.

My old GS and current GSA are both fine, in RTW mode, two up with a full tank of fuel and high speeds, it is solid and solid one up, no boxes and almost empty come to that.

Shot bike oncoming shows him moving shoulders and hands to enduce weave. You wouldn't be doing that to reduce a weave. :blast
