Having obtained a second hand set of Motec panniers rails, and scrounged a well used set of Peli cases, I set about matching the two bits of kit up, with the use of some ally plate that I had to hand.

Just I thought I’d share the result of several hours in the garage :thumb

Nice job there Steve, funny how you always have bits of alloy "just lying around." :) Now then.............about that filter guard. :augie

Andy.

Just the job Steve and am thinking along similar lines with the alu plate. :thumb

What have you done to stop them coming off when you hit a bump in the road?

The mounting bobbins are in keyhole shaped slots. When properly mounted, I lock the case to the rack, thus preventing any vertical movement as well as helping preventing thieving scum lifting the cases off of the bike.
Simples ;)

Outrunner
Can I help it if numpty cage drivers keep taking out the road side furniture.
I call it re-cycling ;)

Not sure what size they are. I'll measure them up then you can check out a distributors web site to find which case matches the measurements.

Looks good!

Thanks for the positive feedback gents - much appreciated.

Having measured the boxes and consulted the Peli case company web site, I'm guessing that they are 1550 cases, as previously guesstimated by chas820 :clap.
