Not a bad article from the latest MS &L explaining a bit about Honda’s progress with DCT and then a comparative test on a selection of DCT models.

It’s an interesting conundrum. I love the DCT, so if I was to replace the Goldwing what would I get ?
can’t afford another one. Nothing else in Hondas line up interests me so it’s look elsewhere.
but I’d like to stick with a DCT bike and no one else does anything like it.

I’m feel pretty much the same way as you Steve about the DCT, only I feel the same about CarPlay too.

Goldwing pillion comfort is another area that will be difficult to leave. The Goldwing is an extraordinary bike.

I’ve tested the NT1100 - very nice bike and it ticks the DCT and CarPlay boxes, but no compartment for your phone and a screen that’s not adjustable on the fly let it down. Should you ever test an NT then make sure you do without a top box as it reduces pillion room.

DCT only on the 2024 Africa Twin Adventure Sport, although the "smaller" more off-road biased model will still get a manual option.
