I am already walking, looking at that contraption, I think I would be better off with a pair of new hiking boot's 
My contribution to it: Tail piece looks like an after thought, (Pun intended) front headlight will soon nickname the bike Darth Vader, battery cover they could have designed better, with perhaps some slip streaming fins or something less bland.

My mistake. Yes they have dropped the idea of making and selling battery cars in the US (not Europe) to focus on hybrids.
In light of the recent slowdown in the growth of the EV market in the U.S., Honda will reassess its resource allocations and further strengthen its hybrid models. As for regional business, in addition to its main markets, namely Japan and the U.S., Honda will enhance the model lineup and cost competitiveness in India, where market expansion is expected. In other countries in Asia as well, Honda will strive to enhance its competitiveness by introducing next-generation hybrid models and reassessing the allocation of its resources..
i don't give a fuck about electric ...I STILL WANT A CLUTCH LEVER.
and this is a fly in the ointment for most people like me getting an electric vehicle ... how to charge it ... i live in a block of flats , in London. i can't have a charger bolted on the wall outside .
Despite years of promoting the future of EV’s there’s little evidence of any real infrastructure to support them at a scale that makes it practical for most potential buyers even if they wanted one.
Parking space in most of London etc is at a premium even before you factor in charging outlets for the number of EV’s required to replace IC vehicles.
Also you can forget stealing catalytic converters. I predict battery theft to replace end of life units as a significant factor in vehicle thefts in the coming years, especially for motorcycles as they will be easier to access and haul.

There was no infrastructure for refueling automobiles when they came to be but it developed. And it developed from private entrepreneurs because it was profitable because it made sense.

I have happily owned and ridden a DCT Goldwing since 2020 so absence of clutch lever not an issue for me....and I have an EV charger at home....so only the range is the deal-breaker for me..
challenge ??? there is 1 charger ( from a street light ) that i know of , within 10 mins walk from home. having chatted with a guy hooking up his car , he knows of 3 other cars that use that point , they all swapped phone numbers , and 1 of them is always hooked onto it by 1800 hrs.
I had a similar reaction to him...sheer fun and great handling.
