Hiyah to all of you GS'ers and Highland Hooterbeaks.
What a cracking day today (Sunday) was 13 (Ooooer) of us all turned up at the Redgarth Pub Old Meldrum.
The weather was fantastic and the venue great! Grub! well wot can I say except "sticky toffee pud & Ice cream)
Who told us of this place I hear you ask? Well none other than the ethereal Andy T. All is forgiven, he does exist in the flesh and has now been voted in our secret Ballott a "Made Man" by the Moray Mafia for suggesting the Brill venue and turning up.
Give me your feedback if you can on sort of alternating between Redgarth and The Tower in Crieff.
Well done "The Pict" for making the trip all the way from Glasgow in the most serious pair of Braces I have seen in a long time.

Thanks to all who turned out. I had told the publican that there would be about 8 of us so it was a good turnout. Great to put some faces to names at last. Maybe next time we should have 2 venues. One to meet for a bite to eat and the 2nd for a cuppa after a rideout. I went for a spin out to Insch, Huntly, Rhynie, Strathdon and home after the pub. It started to get a bit nippy though when the Sun went down. Full marks goes to the Pict for his 400 mile round trip.

Hope to see you all again soon.

HAve Fun

andy,

could i be so bold as to suggest the mountain supplies cafe in aviemore? the ride from aviemore to huntly has to be one of the best around. or even braemar-aviemore.

i'm back in braemar as of 4th april, so this isn't a shameless plug to gain me a few more hours in bed....!

dave

Dave,
Braemar or Aviemore are both fine for me but not for a few weeks as I'm offshore and its the kids holidays so I'll have to plan up front. I may well pop over to Braemar sometime for a cuppa though.

Andy

Hi Dave,
I was planning a trip out later this week if you want any company.
