Horn and dip beam failed at the same time

Both my horn and dip beam have failed (at the same time) on my 2004 r1150gsa. Fuse 4 for the horn is ok (indicators are fine), tried a new H1 bulb but nada. Wondering if it might be a fault in the left hand switch cluster - any ideas?

Shouldn't be, the horn and light are wired separately. My best guess would be chafing of the loom wearing the wires through.

Above or do you run more powerful headlights (considerably over 55/60 watt?) This powrful headlight mod w/o wiring mod can often melt out the main loom from random places (or a whole bike) if you haven't wired it separately with a separate relay.

Thanks all. I'm running standard lamps (as it were...), all the fuses are fine, I'm suspecting the loom although it has had the restrictive headstock cable tie snipped...
