Horn failure

Fitted a stebel nautilus a few months ago and has been working ok.
However came to use it yesterday (some prat in a subaru cut me up) and it sounds like a damp squid. It is mounted under the beak. Anyone else had this trouble?

Needs to be self draining from the horn i.e. pointing down. If you can't do that on the 650 drill a drain hole.

Could be a number of things.......bad ground connection, or more likely ,perhaps, just poor mounting. If the horn is not rock-solid rigid mounted then when actived the diaphragm will not vibrate effectively in the unit. Make sure it simply not worked itself use. Then again.........it could be that its simply fcuked!

it is pointing down..I'll check the grounding.. but could always be ****ed.

My first one suffered like yours. Took it off to replace and found it works great on daughters car. So possibly bad connection / water ingress.

dry it out n test it on a battery if its wet.
oh i , not in the garage tho , ye be needin a hearin aid for a week
