hot spots

sorry if this is a silly question, but i have just parked up, and brushed passed my bike and felt that my spot lights (fog) are very hot.
never noticed before, but
do anyone elses run hot?

ps, they are run indipendant of the lights on a seperate bar switch, connected straight to the battery, if this helps.

A useful reply is, don't worry they do run hot.

Less so with HIDs in them

Put it on E-bay quick or get a built in sprinkler system, you have heard of spontanious combustion?,.

Sensible answer: Yes, they do get hot. Put your hand on any headlight - the spots you refer to feel even hotter because the bulb is contained within a smaller body.

long story, one for around the campfire, but very weird.



as for pics, do you want me to put a photo of me touching the light and going 'ouch' in a jumping up and down fashon?

yup because of small area they generate a bit more heat as already said , n yup ive burnt mesen too

i did know all this anyway, it was a test to see if you lot knew
