Beware this invasive software!
Can't say where it got loaded from, but it promises the ability to customise your Email backgrounds, favourite web sites, etc. . .
The first pisser of it is that it then enables pop-up adds from within Hotbar cookies - not from the Internet - a kind of Trojan Horse approach. It also analyses your web site visits.
The next pisser is that it then changes your Firewall settings, to allow all cookies, banner ads, and export of your unauthorised, personal, details!
The legal shit is multi-pages, and to uninstal it you have uninstal three specific programs ("Shopper report by Hotbar", "Webtools by Hotbar", and "Outlook tools by Hotbar") each of which takes up to 5 minutes apiece to uninstal even though they are just 370KB each.
This is a real nasty, devious, invasive, piece of software. Do not use it!
Cheers,
Neil.
