Hotel and stuff

Any recomendations for a comfortable, reasonable hotel somewhere in Wales, and a few wee places to visit? Oh, and shopping. Must be plenty of shopping

The Witch wants to do a weekend away, and I figure I might as well try and combine the torture with a weekend on the lash with a couple of mates

Betws y Coed and hour from Holyhead and is full of outdoor and twee shops. loads of places to visit, beautiful scenery etc etc.

Let us know when your heading this way, I'll be tempted to meet you guys for a even if it is a 200 plus mls round trip.

The Abercrave inn at Abercraf just north of Swansea (well 30mls ish) is a good place to eat and stay. And some of the loacals might join us too
