Hotel recommendations San Sebastian.....

Can anyone recommend a biker friendly hotel in or around San Sebastien ?

Traveling from Caen down to Valencia next weekend and hoping to get just over the Spanish border on day one.

Wanted - Hotel with motorcycle parking in San Sebastian & other must see things

Any tips? I'm looking for a hotel within walking distance of old town/beaches which has either secure parking or street parking for bikes nearby. Don't mind paying if I have to. Will be going in September so not in peak season Any other must see things/things to do etc whilst I'm there...

I made a recommendation from 2018 in one of the threads Wapping has listed. That place was closed when I returned in 2021 (now open again) so I stayed in Hotel Monte Ulia https://maps.app.goo.gl/634rSBWgHFKBkHbc6 - a bit further out than I wanted but everywhere else was booked up as it was a weekend. Turned out to be okay. Off street parking. Very close to Arzak, a restaurant with 3 Michelin stars if feeling flush. Otherwise, walk into Gross or across the river into the old town of San Seb.

We stayed at the Mercure Monte Igueldo in June .

Ive been going there for 20 years .
My bike wasn’t crying the next day so guess it’s friendly

Two mile walk along beach in to old town .

We’re staying at Sanse Bay this year which is right next to old town .
Has hidden underground garage ( a fake wall opens to reveal garage ).

Not the cheapest but a stunning place with best location.

It’s literally metres from my fav bar for pre pintxos beer - Akerbeltz.

Great beer and for people watching

And then the best pintxos bars are 100 metres away to the left

Hotel Parma, Spitting distance to the old town although parking is in the public 24 hour underground car park.

the French farmers have roads blocked into Spain
and they are there for the long haul

With everything thats happening on the roads in France I've opted to go Portsmouth / Santander on Thursday evening. Get's in 8am Saturday so hoping to get down to Valencia in one hit.
