Hotels Tende and Barcellonnette area

Can anyone recommend bike friendly hotels/B&Bs in the Col du Tende area and also the Barcellonnette/Embrun/Vars area for our trip this summer. Thanks

We stayed in a decent hotel is Sospel. Big garage for bikes, reasonably priced. Run by two Belgian couples, spoke English (if that's important to you). One of th emen was called Franck

Now, if only I could remember the hotel's name... I'll have a think about it.

Right, checking on Google and maps, it would appear the hotel has now changed hands. It certainly wasn't called Hotel de France then, there's no mention of a bike garage, and even Franck doesn't get a name-check.

So, I can't recommend a hotel in that area. Sorry.
