How do I enable wireless in Vista?

There will either be a special button on the laptop or it will be one of the function buttons (F keys) on the keyboard. Look for a wireless transmitter symbol on the button.

I thought an IT consultant would know that.

Have you ever heard the expression 'Never buy a mechanics car'? Business systems - no problem, PC's - I haven't a clue.
