Problem with ebay now sorted:thumb2
I couldn't access my account even with a newly issued password so eaby advised me to switch to mozilla firefox which I duly did and can now access ebay.

Howver, it appears that ther may be an issue with internet explorer accessing websites - must admit some sites have been a tad difficult these past few days.

How can I fix what is wrong with explorer so that everything runs tickety-boo :nenau

Any sites in particular? Sites containing animations or videos for example?
That could indicate a problem with a plugin/flash player/javascript or similar.....

Also try clearing your cache......with your 20mbs speed you probably dont even need one TBH.

if you can identify the type of site or cite some examples, it will help :thumb

adobe flash and/or java had to be uninstalled this week

That'll almost certainly be the problem then :thumb2

You could go to the relevant webites and d/laod the latest versions, but as several have said, it's probably not owrth it.....stick to Firefox, it's faster, far more tweakable and usually faster:thumb

The only time I EVER use IE is because Microsoft force you to do so on their update pages  :blast

OT:

.... but is anyone using Chrome?

I'm using a late beta for Mac - the Windows and Linux has been out a while.

It's very good if a little flakey in places due to being beta.
