How do I switch my lights off?

Going on one of Martin Hopp's Cadwell track days later this month, as recommended by several of you.

One problem: my 2003 GS has hard-wired headlights, but only the instructors have their lights on at the Cadwell thing.

Is there one fuse I can pull which will do the trick, or is it more complicated than that?

I can't just tape them over, Martin told me that one GSer tried that but the heat build-up cracked both lenses! Expensive, that.

How many gs'ers does it take to unscrew a light bulb ?

I'm sure I read somewhere that you do something like hold down the right indicator button for 10 seconds and then turn the ignition on. Maybe this was only for the super-technical 1200GS though.

As I don't own a GS of any sort (yet!!) I can't say for sure, sorry.
