Been looking at several people's signature. Thought I add a little .gif file to mine.

How do you do it?

T.

You can only add an image if it is hosted somewhere on the web. In which case all you do is put the IMG tags around the URL of the image.

Thanks Mike!

I may not be able to do it then

See if this .MAC service works??

thats a lovely animated gif

but fer feicks sake its 255k..

think about the poor sods on normal diall ups having to download that monster animation everytime you post..

now i know if its cached you dont have to reload but most people empty their caches when the close their browser..

sorry but this is one of my pet peeves ..

you can get nice animatons that are only about 10 k if you know what you want..

Is there a way I can make it smaller?

Otherwise I think I will might take it off. Didn't know it would cause that much trouble

Tom.......try the same url i sent you before but change the last bit to nn20023.gif

I've changed the colours to 8 colours rather than 256 and taken out 2/3 of the frames........i've changed the delay 'tween frames to smooth it a little but obviously it's still abit jerky.......it does come out at 40kb now though ;)
