I quite fancy the grey bike, although the white is a close second. I'm a bit concerned though that the darker paint might be harder to maintain, showing swirls and chips more than the white.

How does the paint on the new GS seem? Is it pretty tough or does it seem to be marking easily?

Thanks!

Thunder Grey is the best colour.:thumb No chips or swirls on mine.:beerjug:

Only 4.5K miles but looks peachy.

Just had the ACF treatment from the allyearbiker crew and apart from slight discolouring of the pipes it looks like it's come straight out of the showroom.

Thanks guys. I was concerned it might be like black paint that looks fantastic until the first wipe with a cloth, at which moment it instantly develops a million swirls.

Spitting Image always depicted John Major in grey

Boring and non eventful

Go for white

Well it looks like whatever colour I order I'm going to offend some owners. So I will stick with my K1300S which is light grey metallic - a sort of whitey grey. See? Everyone happy! :D
