How many miles would you suggest before I dumped the "cat"?

Round 'n' round in circles.........
Well, the new GSA has still done less than 150 miles despite having it over a month and a half now.....how sad is that then??

I have a Remus Y-piece and a Remus Ti Revolution can taken from my last GS sat on the garage bench just waiting to be fitted, but the dealer has suggested that I wait until after the first service before I fit them both.

Can anyone give me a good reason why I should wait.

I had mine fitted by the Dealer before I picked the bike up from new, had no problems. They told me to just run it in as normal thats just what i did.

Go on fit it you know you wan't to. ;)

Personally I don't think you should fit them to that beautiful machine you'd spoil the look. Sell them to me and I'll give them a good home.

Thats the only problem with having to much holiday...........I keep looking at the bike and in the end I simply could not resist taking it all off any longer.

The 'cat' and the OE exhaust are now in the loft..........sorry madmikey.

Rather oddly, but it has all fitted much better on the GSA than it did on the GS
There is certainly more of a gap between the rear foot hanger and the exhaust than there was on the other bike, so I would have thought there is little chance of melting the pannier now.

Famous last words I suspect :(

ohhhherrrrrrrrrrrr............its does sound so very nice, but how the hell I am going to carry on keeping the revs low, Lord only knows?

Still, at least I have kept the baffle in this time, if just to save my ears!
