Not having enough cash for a spare set of wheels, i'm swapping tyres for dirt / road. So is there a limit to how many times you can do this? like, once or twice and you stretch the bead or are they robust enough to just keep doing it? Tyres are Anakee 3 and Anakee wild.

If you don't tear the bead, you'll be worn our before the tyres are. Most changes I have ever done with one tyre was about five, when I was trying out different mousses and tubes. Then the tyre only lasted one event. :(

Thanks Mark! food for thought! Went out on the GSA on Saturday and the lanes were just too wet for me, so considering holding off on the knobbly tyres for another couple of months and using road ones if I'm going to stay on the tarmac, but that would mean the rear on / off 3 times and the front twice.

Spoke to my lady who works for the Michelin and had her speak to one of the tech guys for ya, he says so long as you don't damage the tyre getting it on and off then there is t a limit on how many times you can remove it or put it back on as the bead nor tyre should stretch, he did say that really the wild is classed as a 50/50 tyre anyway and should be fit for both on and off road with no problems really.
Hope this helps
