Am looking for replacement tank centre panelk and beak for my 1200GS. How much are they new from BMW? Has anyone replaced them that knows?

Has any one got any pointers on where to get bodywork apart from the main dealers?

Often see guys changing these items on E-Bay when they don't like or get bored of the colour....

Yep, want to swap mine from yellow to black.
Any takers?

£319. I'd imagine a black set will be rather hard to come by this early in their life.

Phone Bahnstormer NOW, they are selling a grey pair, and a blue pair for £75, hurry.

Or you could have them reprayed for £150. I have had a couple of quotes from bodyshops for mine around that figure.

Can anybody comment on how easy there are to get off ? Is it possible to ride the bike without the tank covers/ beak whilst they are at the bodyshop ?

1) We paint those two panels for £129.95 inc VAT plus shipping......

http://www.motorradconcepts.com/esh...-coating/custom-paintwork-and-powder-coating/

We paint our panels to your spec, then send them to you & collect your panels in exchange......you're without your panels for no time at all....

2) Takes about 15 minutes, with basic tools, to remove the panels....

3) From personal experience, It's not possible to ride the bike without the beak, tank top or side panels......not least because the fuel filler cap won't seat correctly without the tank top.

Cheers

Dutch

Thanks Dutch. Can you give me an indication of postage ? (I live in Surrey)
