How much time will we need!!!

Now the wife has upgraded to a 650gs, we are considering a trip from Isle of Wight, over (or under) the channel to Gibraltar via France and Spain.
Thing is how long will it take. Thats there and back and a nice chilled speed.
Cant see the point in doing a trip when all around you is a blurr due to speed.
I would like to go and visit my uncles grave at Normandy and pay my respect also.
So then has anyone else done this trip, if so how many days are we looking at.
Oh would like to go on that bloody big bride they got in France (cant think what it called) and maybe come back via that tunnel under the Alps

depends how slow is slow and where you want to stop would recommed bordeaux, biarritz, madrid

couple a weeks seems fair enough but would also consider the road toward portugal it's nice so 3 weeks would better.
