How to bypass the FPC? Looking for the Link

Hi Folks

I saw a thread on how to bypass the FPC in the event of it failing. Cant find the thread now (possibly here or on ADV). Done a search and got oddles of threads (on FPC - can you imagine...) but not the one I remember.

Anyone got a link.

Whilst yer at it anyone got a 'How To' bypass the side stand switch in case it breaks / fails too?
