Rec'd a text from trancey this morning, if you can meet within the hour do you fancy a run out



Dressing gowns off, bike gear on..Georgia & I meet up with trancey in Consett.

Quick 165 mile run up past Keilder, lunch at Newcastleton then back past Hadrians Wall, Brampton, Alston, Castleside

Just as I'm locking the garage door the heavens opened

My day was great because......looked forward all day to getting home to pack up the bike...off for a 4-day jaunt to Scottishlandshire tomorrow

How was my day at work?

Started at 5am, drove to that London, spent all rewiring and reprogramming an industrial chiller, no lunch break, drove home, got in at 7:30pm thanks for asking. Business as usual.

Hope the riding was fun.

Spent the morning balancing my time between being on the phone to the IT crowd as the new 'super-dooper' software we started using yesterday wouldn't accept the fact that I was on a wireless connection at work and not on a LAN and would crash my shitty laptop everytime I tried to start it up...... Playing Hell with Bishop Auckland Office because they had booked me a whole day Clinic, even though I had told them to stagger my Patients as the new software was bound to be crap, and arguing with Deaf Pit-Yakkers in Seaham because the Appointment we had, would have to be cancelled because the FUCKING Computer wouldn't work and there was nowt I could do about it.
Rinse and Repeat for the afternoon.............. On the whole I'd rather been out on my bike. The life of a Wage Slave isn't as cracked up as they would have you believe.......... Got home to find out that my Mother in Law was staying over the weekend..... Roll on death......
